Role: Enterprise Architect

About the Role
We're seeking an experiencedEnterprise Architectto lead enterprise architecture design and delivery across a large, complex transformation program within a majorstate government enterprise environment.
You'll provide end-to-end architectural leadership across business, information/data, application, integration, technology, cybersecurity and service management domains-helping shape target-state architectures, transition roadmaps, and governance decisions that support digitally enabled business change and investment outcomes.
A key focus will be providing architecture leadership and assurance for a
SAP S/4HANA Finance
upgrade, including alignment to enterprise standards, design traceability, and support across build, test and cutover.
Key responsibilities
Lead development and maintenance oftarget-state enterprise and domain architectures, including transition states, roadmaps and implementation recommendations.
Establish/driveintegration architectureand related policy, process and governance.
Provide architectural governance, assurance and decision support across projects and stakeholders.
Lead/assure production of key architecture artefacts (e.g.,Solution Architecture Document) and supporting design materials.
Provide architecture direction across upgrade activities including:
SAP standard functionality remediation, custom applications/code impacts
security roles/authorisations




integrations/interfaces and architectural dependencies
Support architecture assurance across testing phases (SIT, regression, end-to-end, performance, security) and cutover readiness.
Required Skills
Proven experience leading
enterprise architecture
for large, complex ICT transformation initiatives.
Solid ability to develop coherent architectural views across:
business capabilities & operating model
information/data
applications & integrations
technology infrastructure
cybersecurity and service management
Demonstrated SAP enterprise architecture leadership, including
SAP S/4HANA
(especially
S/4HANA Finance
) and ideally
RISE with SAP / Private Cloud Edition (PCE)
.
Experience delivering major SAP upgrades/migrations, including impact assessment, integration/custom-code remediation, and architecture assurance through build/test/cutover.
Strong governance, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, influencing and executive communication skills.
Highly regarded
SAP enterprise platforms such as SAP HR/Payroll
data archiving / information lifecycle management
environment rationalisation and/or SAP Solution Manager transition experience
