Role Description
The Event Photographer / Brand Ambassador is responsible for capturing high-quality images of guests, brand activations, and key event moments, while representing Polite Playground and client brands in a professional, engaging manner. This on-site role, based in Sydney CBD includes setting up and operating photography equipment and interactive photo experiences, directing guests during portraits and group shots, and ensuring smooth image capture and delivery. Day-to-day tasks involve greeting attendees, explaining activation concepts, encouraging participation, and providing friendly customer service that enhances the overall experience.



The role also includes basic image editing, managing digital files, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with the production team to maintain consistent brand standards across events. Availability for events during evenings, weekends, and occasionally extended hours may be required, depending on client needs.
Qualifications
Candidates with e xperience with Photography and Event Photography live environments are highly desirable.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to confidently engage with diverse audiences.
Experience working at events, activations, or in experiential marketing is highly beneficial.
Proficiency with digital cameras and lighting is preferred.
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a professional in office presence are essential.
Ability to stand for extended periods, move and lift equipment safely, and work flexible hours as required by event schedules.
Valid rights to work in Australia and reliable transport to Brisbane-based event locations are advantageous.
