About Your Next Role
You must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, in accordance with Federal Government compliance standards.
Are you enthusiastic and looking to progress your career in IT further? As a Travelling Support Technician, you will be the hands-on technical expert ensuring vital technology remains operational for our remote communities, retail stores, and corporate offices.
Install and maintain a variety of simple key technologies including POS systems, CCTV cameras, NVRs, and networking equipment
Support end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, and associated software
Perform basic network resolutions including port testing, re-terminations, and WAP diagnostics
Assist the Help Desk team using ITIL-aligned processes for incident and asset management when not travelling
Maintain accurate records of hardware configurations and contribute to the internal knowledge base
Provide high-quality customer service by communicating technical information clearly to non-technical users




Travel to remote communities via light aircraft and 4WD to perform technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and product installation.
What we look for
You are technically proficient and enjoy a mix of field-based problem solving and office-based support
Continuous 4+ years of relevant - hands on experience in computer hardware and software, professionally or through personal endeavours well regarded
Familiar with Service Desk or Helpdesk environments
Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
Ability and willingness to travel to remote First Nations communities. While not a full time travelling role, applicants will need to be willing to travel upwards of 60 days throughout a year, on travel commitments.
Confidence using hand and power tools
Relevant working history, including Permanent Residency within Australia
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Ability to obtain necessary clearances for remote community work
