This global engineering business designs, manufactures and delivers complete processing plants used within the mining, quarrying, aggregates, recycling, industrial and wastewater sectors.
Rather than supplying individual pieces of equipment, the company provides turnkey plant solutions that help customers wash, separate, dewater, filter and recover valuable materials while reducing water consumption, lowering operating costs and improving plant efficiency.
Aggregate and sand washing plants
Mineral processing and classification systems
Thickening and clarification equipment
Industrial water treatment systems
Filter presses and sludge dewatering plants
Tailings management solutions
Pumping, conveying and material handling systems
Fully integrated automation and control systems
Customers include mining companies, quarry operators, aggregate and sand producers, recycling facilities, industrial manufacturers, water treatment operators and EPC/EPCM contractors responsible for delivering major processing infrastructure projects.
With strong support from European headquarters and an expanding presence across Australia, Asia Pacific and South America, the business delivers projects ranging from standalone plant upgrades through to complete multi-million-dollar processing facilities.
OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to senior management, you will take ownership of automation and control systems across a range of industrial processing projects.
You will become the primary automation resource for the Australian business, leading the development, programming and commissioning of PLC, SCADA and industrial control systems used within mineral processing plants, aggregate washing facilities, filtration systems and industrial water treatment infrastructure.
A key component of the role will be the development and support of Allen-Bradley PLC platforms,
with the successful candidate working closely with international engineering teams to standardise and improve automation capability across multiple regions. The business has identified Brisbane as a strategic hub for automation support across Australia, Europe and South America.
While the role is primarily office-based during project design and development phases, you will also support factory acceptance testing, commissioning and site start-up activities throughout Australia and internationally. Project destinations may include mining and industrial operations across Asia Pacific, South America and other global locations.
International travel forms part of the role, although the majority of engineering work is undertaken from the Brisbane office.
