An opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Broker or Junior Insurance Broker to join one of the Gold Coast's most established insurance brokerages.
Working as part of a collaborative team of eight, you'll support and manage a portfolio of domestic and SME commercial clients while continuing to develop your broking career. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with senior brokers, insurers and clients, gaining exposure across both personal and commercial lines.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the management of domestic and SME commercial insurance portfolios.
Preparing renewals, endorsements, quotations and new business submissions.
Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and obtain competitive outcomes for clients.
Providing exceptional day-to-day service to clients via phone and email.
Supporting brokers with policy administration and portfolio management.
Assisting clients with policy enquiries and claims support.
Building strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
Ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
About You
You'll have previous experience working within an insurance brokerage and be looking to continue building your career in a supportive,



team-focused environment.
Ideally you'll have:
Experience as an Assistant Broker, Broker Assistant or Junior Insurance Broker.
Exposure to domestic and/or SME commercial insurance.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A proactive attitude and genuine desire to progress within insurance broking.
Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualifications (or working towards them) will be highly regarded.
Experience using broking systems such as Insight, WinBEAT, Sunrise or similar is advantageous.
