Our client is a leading renewable energy developer and asset owner with a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across Australia.
As Asset Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the technical, operational and commercial performance of the company's operating assets. Working closely with O&M; contractors, AEMO, NSPs, OEMs and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure assets operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial and technical performance of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, ensuring contractual obligations and performance targets are achieved.
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, cash flow reporting and variance analysis.
Review and approve O&M; invoices, contractor claims and project expenditures, ensuring compliance with contracts and budgets.
Administer key project and operational contracts, including O&M;, OEM, network, PPA and service agreements.
Manage contract registers, variations, warranties, bank guarantees, insurance renewals and key project documentation.
About You
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience within utility-scale renewable energy, power generation or infrastructure asset management.
Solid understanding of renewable energy asset management principles and the commercial operation of generation assets.
Experience managing budgets, contract administration, financial reporting and operational governance.
Working knowledge of the National Electricity Market (NEM), AEMO and renewable energy compliance requirements.
Highly organised with excellent stakeholder management, communication and commercial acumen.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, SAP, Pronto or other ERP/asset management systems is advantageous.
