Description
Join the Medical Adviser team in Population and Public Health at NSW Ministry of Health for an exciting temporary full time (12 month) opportunity.
We're seeking a Career Medical Officer to commence in February ****. You'll be providing evidence based, timely advice to the NSW Chief Health Officer and teams across the Population and Public Health Division. You'll use your critical appraisal skills and understanding of epidemiology to support the Division, as well as helping drive and deliver key projects and proposals.
General medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia
Qualifications in public health, and a demonstrated understanding of public health
Ability to work in a small dynamic and fast-paced team environment
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Demonstrated understanding of the health system challenges and opportunities, including the area of population health
A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development
