Role Overview
The Program Manager will play a critical role in shaping and delivering high-impact technology and business enablement programs across diverse teams and global regions. This role partners closely with product, engineering, and platform teams as well as key enabling functions—including our Go‐to‐Market and finance teams—to drive both transformative strategic initiatives and mission‐critical operational outcomes.
As a visible and influential leader, you will champion Agile best practices, embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The precise scope of this role may involve end‐to‐end Program Management of an acceleration program, shared ownership of specific workstreams alongside existing Program Managers in Program Delivery, or taking on existing program responsibilities to free up capacity elsewhere in the team. We're looking for someone who can ramp up quickly and execute efficiently under any of these configurations.
Location
This position will be based in our Sydney office. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining days of the week.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership: Lead and oversee the successful execution of technology and business enablement programs, ensuring alignment with Nuix's strategic goals and business objectives.
Program Planning: Develop and maintain integrated program roadmaps aligned with the Product Roadmap, ensuring schedules, release plans, and milestones are clearly defined and delivered on time.
Process Improvement:
Champion continuous improvement initiatives to refine Agile processes, tools, and practices, driving operational excellence across the organisation.
Metrics and Reporting: Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track program health, progress and outcomes, delivering clear and actionable updates to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with product owners, engineering teams, and key cross‐functional partners—including product support, commercial, training, documentation, pre‐ and post‐sales, and marketing—to align priorities and manage expectations.
Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, ensuring effective resolution strategies are in place to maintain program momentum.
Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including retrospectives and Program Increment (PI) Planning, driving alignment and collaboration across teams.
Agile Coaching: Act as a trusted advisor and coach, promoting Agile principles and practices to strengthen team capabilities and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
