About imei
imei is an Australian communications technology company delivering secure Managed Mobility, Network Infrastructure and Unified Communications solutions, supported by a comprehensive managed services wrap across Australia and New Zealand. For more than 20 years, we have partnered with leading enterprise and government organisations, underpinned by a customer satisfaction score (NPS) that consistently ranks among the highest in our industry.
About the Role
We are seeking a hands‐on Commercial Partnerships Manager to lead imei's vendor, supplier panel and partner ecosystem. This is a build‐and‐run role, combining day‐to‐day relationship management with the opportunity to design and embed the templates, processes and commercial frameworks that will shape how this function operates. The role offers genuine scope to establish structure, improve governance and influence how imei manages strategic partnerships, without the constraints of a large, already‐established team model.
You will be part of the management team and work closely with all leaders across the business.
What you'll do?
Manage strategic vendor and partner relationships end to end, including onboarding, commercial negotiations, renewals, governance and compliance.
Build trusted relationships with key vendor and supplier stakeholders to unlock commercially attractive opportunities for imei's target markets.
Own imei's participation across supplier panels, including Government, Enterprise, Telstra‐aligned and other strategic channels, covering renewals, certifications and RFI/RFQ/RFP responses.
Review and manage customer contracts, including MSAs, SoWs and SLAs,
in partnership with Sales and Legal.
Identify, qualify and onboard subcontractors and specialist partners to extend imei's national delivery coverage and capability.
Develop and continuously improve the templates, workflows and documentation that support vendor onboarding, scorecards, QBRs, compliance checklists and related governance processes.
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and track panel‐driven pipeline, chance conversion and commercial outcomes.
About you?
We're looking for a strategic and hands‐on leader who thrives on creating structure, driving commercial outcomes, and building long‐term partnerships.
5–7+ years' experience in vendor management, partner management, commercial management and bid management, ideally within ICT, telecommunications or managed services.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across internal teams, external vendors and strategic partners.
Hands‐on experience supporting major bids and commercial opportunities in collaboration with internal teams, vendors and partners.
Strong commercial judgement, strategic thinking and the ability to identify opportunities that create measurable business value.
Comfortable building structure, workflows and processes from the ground up, as well as improving existing ways of working.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional and commercially focused documentation.
What We Offer
Hybrid working flexibility
A high‐growth business with genuine career progression opportunities
Access to ongoing learning and professional development

Base salary: $185,000–$195,000 + up to $20,000 performance bonus (total package approx. $205,000–$215,000)
