The Role
This is a varied position where you'll play an important part in helping patients feel welcome and supported throughout their visit.
Your day may include:
Greeting patients and managing the front desk
Booking appointments and handling general administration
Processing payments and assisting with practice systems
Learning to assist patients with frame styling and eyewear selections
Supporting the optometrist and team with day-to-day clinic operations
Over time, you will also have the opportunity to learn optical dispensing skills, including helping patients choose frames and lenses suited to their needs.
Days and Hours
This is a part-time role starting in May.
The practice requires availability on:
Tuesday and Thursday (essential)
Plus, either Monday or Wednesday
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is eager to learn.
You'll likely have:
Previous customer service, retail, reception, or administration experience
Friendly and confident communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
Good computer literacy
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
