is seeking a
full-time Level 2 Service Desk Engineer
to join our
Wangara, WA office
!
You'll be part of a smaller, close-knit team, playing a hands-on role across our end-to-end Service Desk and some onsite desktop-related work, collaborating with our client base and establishing strong relationships.
This is a crucial role within
GPK Group
that will see the successful candidate designing, building, testing, and implementing ICT systems and solutions for our clients.
Managing the end-to-end process,
you will drive client projects and be responsible for effectively documenting the scope of the work and creating accurate records for
GPK
and the client.
Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Retail Technologies
Networking
Servers and Storage
Internet Service Provision
Hosting
Telecommunications
Security
Technical support, advice, coaching, mentoring and training
You will be providing network and hardware management for our clients.
While typically, this will occur during normal Monday to Friday business hours, some after-hours work will also be available for those keen to increase their take-home pay.
What You'll Bring to the Role
Critical to your success in this role will be a passion for all things ICT.
Experience in an MSP environment is highly regarded
.
This role suits
someone who's already spent time at Level 1 and 2 and is ready to take the next step
, with an appetite for further certifications ( which we'll support and pay for ).
Your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, along with your confidence, will allow you to build positive relationships with our clients and our broader network of internal and external stakeholders.
Other requirements include:
Experience with a broad range of IT systems and programs, including firewalls, Microsoft platforms and virtual environments
Experience working with a ticketing/documentation system such as ConnectWise or IT Glue
Experience managing complex multisite clients
Technical account management experience
Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Qualification in related IT
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with different stakeholders
Additionally, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which will enable you to be creative and innovative in your solutions.
You will also seek to find long-term, permanent solutions to the problems presented by your clients.
Desirable (not essential):
Exposure to SOTI and Azure
Familiarity with PBX solutions, preferably 3CX, or general phone system exposure
Exposure to retail systems
An interest in emerging AI technologies
A strong interest in security/cybersecurity
