Fraser Coast Veterinary Services is a long established, well respected small animal clinic in Maryborough, QLD, with a branch clinic in Howard.

We are currently looking for a friendly and organised
veterinary receptionist
to join our team on a part-time basis for around 36 hours per fortnight.
About the role
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working with people, animals and a busy clinic team.
You will be the first point of contact for our clients and will play an important role in creating a warm, professional and welcoming experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner
Answering phones, managing enquiries and booking appointments
Processing payments and maintaining accurate client and patient records
Supporting veterinarians and nurses with daily clinic administration and workflow
About you
We are looking for someone who is reliable, approachable and able to stay calm and organised in a busy workplace.
Previous veterinary reception or animal care experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right person.
Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception role highly regarded
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Confidence using computers and learning clinic software systems
A positive, team-focused attitude
The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy reception environment
A genuine care for clients, patients and the wider team
Permanent part-time role – 36 hours per fortnight
