Property Manager
to oversee the day‐to‐day operations of one of their neighbourhood shopping centres in
Hervey Bay
.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive property professional who enjoys being on‐site, building strong tenant relationships and taking ownership of all operational aspects of a retail asset.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient day‐to‐day management of the shopping centre, ensuring it is well presented, compliant, financially well managed and provides an outstanding experience for both tenants and customers.
You will work closely with contractors, service providers, leasing professionals and the wider asset management team while playing a key role in maintaining the performance of the centre.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day‐to‐day operations of a neighbourhood shopping centre.
Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors and stakeholders.
Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance programs.
Oversee cleaning, security, landscaping and essential services contractors.
Conduct regular property inspections and maintain presentation standards.
Assist with budgeting, invoice approvals and expenditure monitoring.
Ensure compliance with WHS, statutory requirements and contractor management.
Support tenant fit‐outs, centre activations and operational projects.
Prepare operational reporting and provide recommendations to the Asset Manager.
About You To be successful, you will ideally bring:
Previous experience managing retail shopping centres or commercial property.
Strong facilities and contractor management experience.
Sound understanding of property compliance and WHS requirements.
Experience managing maintenance budgets and operational expenditure.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive, hands‐on approach with exceptional organisational skills.
Experience with property management systems (Re‐Leased experience highly regarded).
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
