Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Depot Manager to join a well-established and growing organisation in Townsville.
This is an exciting prospect for a hands-on leader to oversee depot operations, manage a small team, and ensure a secure, efficient, and customer-focused environment.

Lead, mentor and motivate a small team to achieve operational and customer service objectives.
Oversee the daily running of the depot, including staff rostering, administration, cash handling and record keeping.
Ensure smooth and efficient depot operations while maintaining high service standards.
Support customers and provide a positive, welcoming experience.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of team members as required.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all workplace policies and procedures.
Identify, report and address safety risks, hazards and operational concerns promptly.

About the Candidate
Previous experience managing or supervising a small to medium-sized team.
A background in operations, warehousing, logistics, retail, hospitality or customer service environments.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong focus on customer service.
The ability to work in a physically active environment when required.
A commitment to workplace health, safety and compliance.
Work Environment
Full-time, permanent position offering $73,000 + Superannuation
