Job Title - ETDL Systems Trainer Job ID - ******* Security Clearance: Baseline Clearance Length of Contract: 10 months The role closes on 10/08/2026 Location: QLD, ACT, VIC Job details As a Systems Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Training Manager by planning and executing the training strategy for the Program.
You'll act as the vital link between the program and business, working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure fit for purpose materials are developed to support adoption.
Your focus will be to create and support the delivery of tailored training materials and strategies that enhance people's capabilities and drive adoption.
The candidate must hold an active Baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
Key duties and responsibilities The role will be responsible for, but not limited to: Innovate and lead creative training strategies under the guidance of the Training Manager to support digital transformation in a complex program setting, ensuring readiness for the new system.
Collaborate with the Change Team to understand business requirements and assist in delivering change and training activities according to the overall Program schedule and approach Support the evaluation and analysis of training from current state to future states to support the transition, ensuring users are fully equipped Craft engaging and fit for purpose training materials Foster strong and meaningful relationships across the Program and business to ensure training activities are well understood and effectively adopted.
Coordinate the training schedule to support change and business adoption activities Support the delivery of training sessions, both virtually and in-person,
aligning with the training schedule and program needs Provide consistent reporting on training delivery, uptake, and success, validating outcomes with end users and their leaders Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified.

Essential criteria Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team whilst contributing positively to the achievement of the Program objectives.
Proven ability to contribute to the full training cycle; assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate.
Knowledge of how to understand and evaluate learner needs with the objective of delivering high level training and knowledge documents.
Experience developing fit-for-purpose training materials including guides, videos, and modules for diverse audiences.
Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development programs and initiatives.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills across a diverse stakeholder group.
High quality written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to support the assessment and planning of training strategies.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise, negotiate, and represent effectively.
Ability to manage multiple work packages simultaneously whilst understanding dependencies and ensuring progress and quality.
Understanding of Agile project delivery and change management frameworks, with experience in supporting training outcomes for large-scale programs.
SFIA Skills Sought: The transfer of business and/or technical skills and knowledge and the promotion of professional attitudes in order to facilitate learning and development.
Uses a range of techniques, resources and media (which might include eLearning, on-line virtual environments, self-assessment, peer-assisted learning, simulation, and other current methods).
ETDL Level 4: Prepares or customises and delivers learning activities and the learning environment for a variety of audiences.
Teaches, instructs, trains students/learners in order to develop knowledge, techniques and skills using appropriate methods, tools, online environments, equipment and materials.
Oversees students/learners in performing practical activities and work, advising and assisting where necessary, and ensuring that maximum learning benefit is gained from the practical experience.
Provides detailed instruction as necessary and responds to wide-ranging and detailed questioning in own area(s) of specialisation.
Assesses objectively, against pre-set criteria, the ability levels of students and reports as appropriate.
Develops examples and case study material for use in pre-defined courses.
Adapts simple course material to meet the needs of students.
