We're looking for an experienced
Network Quality & Compliance Lead
to lead quality assurance, governance and regulatory compliance across our growing network of centres.
This is a highly influential leadership role where you'll drive continuous improvement, coach and develop leaders, and ensure our centres consistently deliver exceptional outcomes for children, families and our teams.
About the role
As our
Network Quality & Compliance Lead
, you'll own and lead Quality, Governance & Leadership while providing strategic oversight across regulatory compliance, health and safety, staffing compliance and continuous quality improvement across the Explorers network.
This role is about more than compliance, it's about building capability.
You'll coach and mentor our Quality & Compliance Leaders, strengthen governance systems, prepare centres for Assessment & Rating, and drive consistency and excellence across every Explorers service.
What you'll be doing:
Lead governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance across all Explorers centres
Coach, mentor and develop Quality & Compliance Leaders through structured coaching programs
Drive continuous improvement and strengthen governance systems across the network
Lead Assessment & Rating readiness, with a strong focus on Quality Area 7
Oversee compliance with the National Law,
National Regulations and Child Safe Standards
Lead incident management, regulatory notifications and compliance reporting
Conduct centre quality audits and provide practical coaching to support improvement
Partner with operational and educational leaders to drive consistent quality outcomes
Build leadership capability and succession pathways within the Quality & Compliance team
Monitor quality trends and implement strategies that support Exceeding outcomes

What we're looking for:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a sector leadership, compliance, or quality assurance role within early childhood education
Deep knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and ACECQA requirements
Demonstrated experience with the Assessment and Rating process
Solid understanding of the serious incident reporting obligations
Genuine coaching ability; you can build trust quickly and support leaders to grow
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to have direct, constructive conversations
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, or Cert IV in Training and Assessment / Leadership and Management (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia philosophy is highly regarded
