We are looking for an experienced, highly organised Qualified Marine Mechanic / Workshop Operations Manager to join our team in Hornsby.

About the Role As the Workshop Operations Manager / Senior Tech, you will oversee the daily flow of our busy Hornsby workshop while staying hands-on with high-level repairs and diagnostic work.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and direct daily workshop operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflow.
Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of marine engines and systems.
Plan and schedule jobs, work orders, and maintenance programs.
Lead, mentor,



and train technicians and apprentices.
Liaise directly with customers, suppliers, and internal management.
Assist with spare parts management, stock control, and job costing when required.
Maintain high standards of quality control, workshop safety, and compliance.
About You Qualifications: Trade Certified Marine Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle / Automotive Mechanic with strong marine experience.
Experience: 3+ years in a senior or supervisory role within a workshop environment preferred.
Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of marine engine systems (outboards, inboards, electronics).
Mercury experience is a huge plus!
Leadership: Strong communication and team management skills with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
Requirements: Current Driver's Licence (Forklift licence highly regarded).
