1 x Ongoing, Full Time opportunity based in Shepparton 1 x Fixed-term, full-time opportunity until 23/07/2027 based in Seymour
Salary band of $91,971 - $98,955 plus superannuation plus yearly increases
Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connect individuals to programs, services and community.
CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
About the role
Case Managers in the Court Practice stream are responsible for applying evidence-based case management practices to individuals at medium or high risk of reoffending.
This role is required to utilise case management practices to actively engage individuals and ensure responsive, targeted interventions to assist in reducing their risk of reoffending.
Identify and evaluate factors that relate to individual offending behaviour
Motivate and influence individuals in the case management process
Produce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines
Monitor individual's compliance against order requirements
About you
Demonstrates assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours
Builds positive working relationships and enjoys working in a small, close-knit team
Understanding of case management practices relating to complex individuals
Practices modelling pro social behaviours and motivates those around them
Pays attention to words, expression and body language; Recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusion
