About the Role
We are seeking an experienced legal professional to lead culturally safe, specialist family violence legal services across a designated region. You can be based at any of the following locations above with relation support offered.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure high-quality legal practice, and maintain a small caseload of complex matters. This role combines people leadership, operational oversight, and strategic contribution.

Key Responsibilities




Lead and manage legal teams across multiple sites
Supervise and mentor lawyers and support staff
Maintain a small caseload of complex legal matters
Oversee service delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
Qualified legal practitioner (or eligible) with unrestricted Victorian Practising Certificate
Minimum 3 years experience in family law, family violence, child protection, or victims of crime assistance
Strong leadership experience managing legal or multidisciplinary teams
Ability to work with vulnerable clients and manage complex needs
Experience in community or not-for-profit legal sector
Policy, advocacy, or law reform experience
Knowledge of culturally safe practice frameworks
