Our Bendigo Bridge Program offers structured residential treatment, education and recovery support for people seeking to rebuild their lives.
This role is essential in ensuring that participants receive safe, consistent and high-quality care through strong leadership, coordinated case work and reliable residential operations.
About the role
As the AOD Residential Team Leader, you will lead the entire residential team and coordinate case work activities to ensure participants receive appropriate care, education and support in line with the Model of Care.
You will oversee governance routines, safe exits, rostering, structured handover and daily operational flow to ensure the program runs smoothly.
Reporting to the Program Manager, this is a Permanent Full‐time position based on‐site in Bendigo, Victoria.
Compensation
Compensation is in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) Level6.
Responsibilities
Residential leadership – lead the residential team each day and coordinate case work activities.
Operational coordination – act as the central contact for daily operations and problem solving; guide workflow across the program.
Case work leadership – lead case reviews and intake meetings, and ensure treatment matching and triage discussions occur through the correct forums.
Clinical governance – complete core governance routines including case reviews, supervision team meetings,



file audits and treatment completion reviews.
On‐call and rostering – participate in the on‐call roster and coordinate rostering arrangements to maintain minimum shift coverage.
Medication oversight – oversee medication‐related matters and ensure issues are documented and escalated appropriately.
People leadership – provide direct line management for case managers, the peer worker and the intake worker, including recruitment support, induction, supervision and staff development.
Qualifications & Skills
AOD Skill Set including CHCAOD001, CHCAOD004, CHCAOD006 and CHCAOD009.
Residential AOD experience with demonstrated experience working in an AOD residential treatment setting.
Relevant qualifications such as an undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field, or qualifications in clinical supervision or leadership.
Group work and program coordination skills with experience creating and maintaining timetables in residential settings.
Leadership capability including supervision, reflective practice and team development.
A Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
A current First Aid certificate.
A current Victorian Driver's Licence.
