Role Description
This is a full-time Solicitor role based in Melbourne, VIC, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows for both in-office and work-from-home days. The Solicitor will manage a varied caseload, in the area of administrative law, from initial client consultation through to resolution. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on legal options, drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing submissions and correspondence,



and representing clients in negotiations and hearings where appropriate. The role involves liaising with courts, tribunals, government departments, and other stakeholders, as well as maintaining accurate file notes and ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory requirements. The Solicitor will also contribute to firm-wide initiatives, support continuous improvement of processes, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on legal options in administrative law from initial consultation through to resolution.
Draft and review legal documents, prepare submissions and correspondence.
Represent clients in negotiations and hearings where appropriate.
Liaise with courts, tribunals, government departments, and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate file notes and ensure compliance with qualified and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and support continuous improvement of processes.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
