Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Analyst – Asset Management for the Data Sustainability team to lead the charge in determining the impact and value of data sets for the enterprise.
This role is pivotal in influencing and shaping data‐related decisions and delivering on our data acquisition strategy.
You will present recommendations and strategies to the executive team and produce quality outcomes under pressure to meet deadlines while providing excellent customer service.
You will also conduct investigative business analysis to diagnose data‐related issues, leveraging deep data interrogation and stakeholder engagement to identify root causes and inform targeted remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing
Manage data assessments: review, interpret, and manage data using statistical techniques and management systems to provide accurate assessments.
Determine commercial value: assess new and existing data to identify its impact and value for the organization.
Extract and communicate insights: identify patterns and correlations within data sets to provide actionable business recommendations.
Visualize data: use tools to present data findings to audiences of all levels of data literacy.
Conduct investigative analysis: analyze data issues and business problems, translating ambiguous anomalies and stakeholder‐reported issues into structured insights to identify root causes across data pipelines, processes, and upstream sources, and recommend targeted, actionable solutions.
Stakeholder engagement: liaise with external and internal teams,
and executives to present research and address business challenges.
Maintain data integrity: process confidential information according to strict guidelines and handle deep troubleshooting/issue resolution.
Promote safety: take reasonable care for personal health and safety and cooperate with the workplace health and safety framework.
Job Qualifications
What You Will Bring:
Essential
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.
Senior Experience: 5+ years of experience in the collection and analysis of complex narrative and statistical data.
Technical Mastery: Strong skills in SQL with 5+ years of experience in mining and analysis applications.
Analytical Mindset: Proven senior‐level experience in problem‐solving with strong attention to detail.
Communication: Ability to explain data insights to both technical and non‐technical audiences and influence stakeholders.
Software Proficiency: High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
Advanced Tools: Experience with Snowflake, Tableau, AWS, GCP, R, or Python.
Collaborative Spirit: Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
