Job Description
The MAMS Group is currently seeking a multi-skilled, enthusiastic, and physically fit truck driver to join our Townsville team for an immediate start.
This position is based at our Fairfield Waters Depot in Townsville primarily operating a 10 Pallet Curtainsider truck 6 days per week, as well as operating hook trucks on an as required basis.
The role involves local work as well as day trips to Ayr, Charters Towers and Ingham.
Current casual hours are between 30 to 40 per week increasing to 40 to 45 hours per week later in the year, with the potential of a full-time role for the right operator.
About the Candidate
HR or HC Truck Licence and proven experience as a heavy vehicle truck driver
Ability to work independently and represent MAMS Group with professionalism, honesty, and integrity
Solid commitment to safety and compliance with NHVR regulations and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
Able to carry out manual handling tasks (loading and unloading ****lts bins via tail lifter and tarping skips)
High level of communication - both written and verbal
Successful applicants will also need to undertake a full medical examination and police check.
