Reporting to the Production Coordinator, this a great chance for a self-starter to take responsibility for running our Encapsulation Machine.
This significant role for us will require our successful candidate to follow documented procedures, complete batch documentation, performance process checks and optimise the performance of our equipment.
Our new Encapsulation Operator will proactively contribute towards the continuous improvement of our processes, equipment, work practices and systems.This role requires an ability to work independently within our fast-paced and friendly team environment in a GMP compliant Production facility, where loyalty and high work ethic is valued and rewarded.
This is an evening shift appointment working from 14:15pm to 22:45pm,



5 days per week.Key responsibilities include:Involved in all aspects of operating our encapsulation machine (A machine that fills and closes capsules)Set up the encapsulation machine.Load raw materials into the encapsulation machine using an overhead feed systemRun and monitor the machine.Monitor and adjust encapsulation machine settings to ensure optimal performancePerform quality checks on capsule weight and appearance.Troubleshoot any machine issues.Disassemble and clean the equipment after production.Complete batch and GMP documentation i.e. Batch booksComplete all tasks with a high level of accuracy and in line with documented procedures at all timesAssist in the production of goods in accordance with the production scheduleProactively practice and abide by Metagenics Health and Safety policyClean the facility and equipment as directedSkillsand Experience:Experience working in a regulated environment in food, natural medicines or Pharmaceuticals industryExperience within a production facility,good knowledge of GMP processes idealStrong written and verbal communication skillsJob benefits and perksDaily inbuilt payable overtime (just under 30 minutes)Heavily discounted product for yourself and family to purchase, with complimentary product available in the office, free onsite parkingAn Annual Recognition Program that recognises employee performance and alignment to our Values and active Culture.Access to Perkbox, an employee benefits and discounts provider of major brands, as well as onsite Yoga, Ping Pong and Art Classes.Metagenics is committed to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
