because we know our strength lies in our people.About YouYou will have experience running a kitchen within an Aged Care Facility which will ensure you feel comfortable stepping in to manage all facets of Food Services.
You will have the ability to lead the day-to-day production with the assistance of kitchen hands and accept responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen.The RolePrepare and cook meals for residents, ensuring that food is prepared safely and hygienically.Ensure food is prepared to a high standard of quality and presentation, and check supplies to confirm freshness and suitability.Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that they follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards.Follow food safety rules, hygiene standards, and other regulations for serving food in Aged Care Facilities.RequirementsMinimum of 12 months experience in any sectorMinimum of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or Cert IV in Commercial cookery/ Diploma in hospitality)Food Safety and Handling CertificateValid National Police CheckFully COVID-19 vaccinated (in line with state requirements)Valid driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and mobile phoneCrewe Sharp is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
