We are passionate about delivering engaging, practical and compliant training that prepares students for real-world industry.As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Trainer & Assessor to join our professional team.If you enjoy working with people, take pride in delivering quality training, and want to be part of an organisation that values continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.About the RoleThis is a hands‐on role delivering both classroom-based and practical training across a range of nationally recognised qualifications.Courses may include:Traffic Controller (RIIWHS205E)Traffic Management Implementer (RIIWHS302E)Traffic Mounted Attenuators (TMA)Training is delivered across South East Queensland and regional Queensland, with company vehicle provided to sucessful applicant.What You'll Be DoingDeliver engaging face‐to‐face training and practical assessments.Conduct competency‐based assessments in accordance with training package requirements.Support students with professionalism and respect throughout their learning journey.Maintain accurate training and assessment records.Follow Upskills QLD's policies, procedures and session plans.Ensure training is delivered consistently and in accordance with ASQA Standards and regulatory requirements.Participate in validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities.Maintain vocational competency,
industry currency and career development.Represent Upskills QLD professionally with clients and students.About YouWe're looking for someone who:Is passionate about developing people.Communicates confidently with diverse groups.Enjoys practical, hands‐on training.Has excellent organisational and time management skills.Works independently while contributing positively to a team.Maintains a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.Is committed to compliance and quality training outcomes.Essential RequirementsTAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent meeting current requirements).
Current industry experience in traffic control and traffic management.Relevant vocational competencies for the courses being delivered.Current TMR approval to deliver Traffic Controller and/or Traffic Management Implementer training (highly regarded).
Current Driver Licence.White Card.Ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight for regional training.Highly DesirableExperience working within a Registered Training Organisation.Experience using student management systems (eSkilled or similar).
