This role requires an enthusiastic and capable Production Labourer/General Hand to work closely with the Production Team, Operations Manager, and occasionally the onsite installation team, to ensure the successful and professional manufacture and delivery of our custom timber products.Job Title:Production Labourer/General HandType of employment:This is a Permanent Full-time role of 38 hours per week.
Work hours will typically be between 7:00am – 3:30pm over five days of the week.The role reports directly to the Operations ManagerLocation:The role is based at our Silverwater Workshop – 20 Churchill Street,



Silverwater.Rate of Pay:Your salary will be based on experience and skill level – can be negotiatedMain Responsibilities:Assist in the production of all timber-related productsAssembly of related products if required.Assist in the maintenance of tools and machineryHandling and Packaging of all timber productsOccasional assistance in installation of playgrounds onsite - assisting the installersMaintain own clean and tidy workspace and clean up for tradesmen.Driving forkliftUnloading and dispatching dutiesSafety for yourself and others.Skills and Experience:Previous experience in labouring rolesPrevious experience working with tools and machineryPrevious experience with Work, Health, and Safety (WHS) systemsAbility to work cohesively as part of a small teamForklift driving experience and ticket idealDrivers licence, with truck licence highly regardedDispatch experienceAbility to read and translate production and construction drawingsStrong work ethic and a positive, "Can-do" attitudeWhite cardPerformance Goals:Completing work to a professional standard and on timeIncrease in production skills and knowledgeIncrease in knowledge of timber, timber-related materials, and hardwareFollow instructionsWork safely in the workplaceMaintain clean, tidy, and protected workspace
