Sundown Villas is seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance / Handyman to join our Operations team.
This hands‐on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and is committed to maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our guests and residents.
About the Role
Reporting to the Community Manager, you will be responsible for the day‐to‐day maintenance and presentation of our 100‐room tourist park and lifestyle community.
Your duties will include:
General repairs and preventative maintenance
Minor carpentry, basic plumbing, door and lock repairs
Pool, BBQ and cabana maintenance
Daily inspections of guest rooms, buildings and grounds
Maintaining common areas, gardens and site presentation
Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
Coordinating with external contractors when required
Supporting operational teams to ensure an outstanding guest experience
About You
You are a proactive, hands‐on person who enjoys solving problems and takes ownership of your work.
Ideally you will have:
Experience in general maintenance,



handyman or facilities roles
Skills in carpentry, minor plumbing and general repairs
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication and teamwork skills
A sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
Experience in hospitality, accommodation, caravan parks or property maintenance is highly regarded
