Operations Support Officer & Disability Support WorkerWe're looking for an organised, proactive superstar who is also passionate about supporting people with a disability.
This is a concurrent position, meaning you will work across both Operations Support and Disability Support as part of your regular role.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is equally comfortable working in the office and out in the community.The role includes:3 days per week in the office providing administrative support to the operations team.
2 days per week supporting NDIS participants in the community.You must be available to work Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm, with shifts rostered within these hours.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration (3 Days Per Week)Answering phones and responding to emails.Scheduling shifts and assisting with staff rostering.Data entry and maintaining accurate participant records.Assisting with compliance documentation.Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.Liaising with participants, families, and support workers.Maintaining organised digital files and records.General office administration and team support.Disability Support (2 Days Per Week)Supporting participants to achieve their NDIS goals.Assisting with community access and social outings.Providing personal care where required.Organising and running group programsDomestic assistance and meal preparation.Medication assistance (where appropriately trained).
Transporting participants to appointments and activities.Completing shift notes and required documentation.About YouEnjoys balancing administration with hands-on support work.Has exceptional organisational and time management skills.Is confident using technology and digital systems.Has experience using Google Drive (highly regarded)Experience with ShiftCare is highly regarded.Has excellent communication and customer service skills.Can work independently while contributing positively to a team.Is adaptable, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities.Is compassionate, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality supportCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check.Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.Current Australian Driver Licence.Reliable, fully insured vehicle.Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete).
