We are recognised for producing superior external finishes, including smooth renders, decorative mouldings, and textured surfaces tailored to client needs.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Solid Plasterer to join our team on a full-time basis at our Norwest, NSW **** site.
You will be responsible for carrying out plastering and rendering works on residential and commercial projects, ensuring all surfaces meet structural, aesthetic, and safety standards.
This role requires expertise in surface preparation, application of multiple coats, decorative and protective finishes, and close collaboration with site teams to deliver project outcomes on time and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and set out plasterboard layouts, ensuring insulation and vapour barriers are installed where requiredCut, shape and position plasterboard sheets, securing them to walls, ceilings and supporting framesPlan and set out materials to ensure the most efficient application is usedInstall beads,



trims and mouldings to strengthen corners and add detailFit decorative elements such as eaves and custom routed linesPrepare joints, gaps and fixings with plaster compounds, smoothing surfaces to a professional finishMix and apply coats of plaster, render and cement using recognised techniques for uniform coverageEnsure corners, angles and surfaces are level, straight and consistentProduce textured finishes and apply specialised materials for acoustic, insulating and fireproofing purposesMaintain secure work practices and use trade tools and equipment effectivelyMust HaveMinimum 3 years experience as a PlastererSkills RequiredStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsAccurate material quantity calculation and setting-out to maximise efficiencyAccurate measuring, cutting, installing mouldings and trimming to specificationSkilled in smoothing, sanding, texturing and decorative finishing techniquesReliable, safety-conscious and able to deliver consistent quality under tight timeframes while maintaining WHS complianceTeam player with the ability to guide and mentor junior staffWhat We OfferCompetitive salary between AUD$75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuationFull-time, stable employment with a reputable and growing construction companySupportive team environment with strong project pipelines
