About the Role:
Lead the clinical education and foster a culture of continuous learning at a reputable and supportive aged care organisation.
In this key leadership role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate innovative training programs that ensure our team provides evidence-based, world-class care in line with Aged Care Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
To facilitate and develop educational programs, materials and opportunities for staff working at the organisation
Engage in the development of educational programs
Review educational content available on all learning platforms for suitability (e.g. Ausmed, Alis, ACIPC, Hand Hygiene Australia)
Facilitate and respond to identified education needs
In collaboration with Senior Clinical and General Managers, promote standards of care and services including nursing and clinical care,
ensuring clinical practice is maintained according to current evidence-based practice, Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.
Contribute collaboratively to the strategic education plan.
Coordinate orientation and mandatory training requirements for all staff
Maintain accurate employee training records
Promote the philosophy of learning and a vibrant education culture within the organisation
Key Requirements:
Solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification
Recent Clinical experience in Aged Care
