The Workshop Service Technician is responsible for the provision of detailed and effective diagnostic, maintenance and repairs of Liebherr mobile cranes to meet customer demands and minimise downtime.
The role also encompasses providing the highest level of customer service and maintaining a safe workplace.Key responsibilitiesDiagnose and repair faults on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic components on Liebherr mobile cranesCarry out preventative maintenance and servicing on Liebherr mobile cranesCarry out diagnostics and examinations using specialised tools and equipmentRequest required spare parts for timely completion of jobsOperate repair equipment including mobile lifting equipmentAccurately complete documentation including timesheets, maintenance records and any customer or site specific documentation requiredMaintain a clean and safe work environmentMaintain effective relationships with customers and assist customers with maintenance planningReceive and provide on-the-job training to acquire and share knowledge of Liebherr mobile cranesEnsure personal health and safety performance and behaviour do not adversely affect the health and safety of othersComply with Quality Assurance and Health Safety and Environmental policy and proceduresAlert the organisation of potential or known problems that affect the quality of LAS products and servicesInitiate recommendations for improvement of the organisation's policies and processesOther duties as directedAbout youEssentialA recognised trade qualification in the mechanical,
