Palmers Glass & Carpentry is seeking a skilled and experienced Frameless Glass Installer/Glazier to join our team on a full-time basis in Gladesville, NSW.
This is a hands-on role that plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality glass installations to our valued clients.
You will be responsible for the precise installation of frameless glass systems, including shower screens, balustrades, splashbacks and other glazing applications.
This position offers the opportunity to work with modern materials and techniques whilst contributing to the reputation of our business for excellence and attention to detail.Key responsibilitiesInstall frameless glass systems including shower screens, balustrades, glass partitions and architectural glazingMeasure and prepare installation sites with accuracy to ensure precise fitting of glass componentsInterpret technical drawings and specifications to execute installations according to customer requirementsUtilise specialised tools and equipment, including glass cutting, drilling and fastening systemsEnsure all installations comply with relevant safety standards, building codes and quality benchmarksMaintain a safe and tidy work environment, managing glass and associated materials responsiblyCommunicate effectively with clients, providing professional advice on glass products and installation optionsTroubleshoot issues on site and implement solutions to maintain project timelinesMaintain accurate records of completed installations and materials usedWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Glazier or Frameless Glass Installer, ideally in residential and commercial applicationsStrong knowledge of glass types, handling procedures and industry-standard installation techniquesProficiency with specialised glazing tools, including glass cutters,



drills and fastening systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accuratelyExcellent spatial awareness and attention to detail, ensuring installations are precise and aesthetically pleasingPhysical fitness and capability to lift, carry and work with heavy glass panels and materialsCurrent and valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between job sitesStrong commitment to health and safety practices on siteExcellent customer service skills and professional communication abilitiesRelevant qualifications or certifications in glazing or glass installation (preferred)Experience with frameless glass balustrades and shower screen systems (preferred)What we offerAt Palmers Glass & Carpentry, we value our team members and provide a supportive working environment.
