Position: IT Support OfficerLocation: Fig Tree PocketPosition Type: Full Time, Permanent

From supporting Mancel College and Bright Door clinics to Corporate Services and School Support Services, your work will help keep our people connected and focused on making a difference for children and young people with Language Disorder.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide technical support across hardware, software, and networks, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT requests
Manage infrastructure and devices, including setup, maintenance, and support for laptops, desktops, iPads, printers, and AV systems
Maintain user systems and access, supporting onboarding/offboarding and ensuring secure, accurate account management
Administer digital platforms and services, ensuring users have the access and functionality they need
Support cybersecurity and compliance by monitoring alerts, investigating threats, and maintaining secure systems
Optimise IT systems and processes through automation, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives




Collaborate with the IT Manager and broader teams to deliver consistent support across all business units
Receive ongoing training and guidance, with learning built into the role
Contribute to proactive improvements and system optimisations that enhance user experience
WHAT YOU WILL NOT BE DOING
You won't work in isolation, collaboration with the IT Manager is key.
You won't be expected to know everything, support and training will be provided and learning is part of the role.
You won't be limited to one site, occasional travel across locations is part of supporting all business units.
You won't ignore security, maintaining compliance and responding to threats is a core responsibility.
You won't just react, proactive improvements and optimisations are encouraged and valued.
YOU BRING
We're looking an individual who will bring a blend of skills, experience, and a passion for technology.
Relevant qualifications in Information Technology (e.g. Certificate IV or higher), with a commitment to ongoing certification and professional development
Industry certifications such as Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA A+, or similar are highly desirable
Experience providing IT support, ideally within an education or similar multi‐site environment
Exceptional customer service focus, with the ability to simplify and explain technical concepts to users with varying levels of technical confidence
Proficiency in managing devices and platforms, including Windows, Microsoft 365, desktop/laptop fleets, AV equipment, and classroom technologies
Strong attention to detail and time management, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and maintain accurate records
A proactive mindset and problem‐solving approach, with a genuine interest in improving systems and supporting others
