This position offers excellent exposure to both General and Acute Medicine within a supportive, physician-led department and is ideally suited to doctors undertaking RACP Basic Physician Training or those looking to broaden their experience in internal medicine.
Working alongside experienced Consultant Physicians, Registrars and multidisciplinary teams, you will manage a diverse range of acute and chronic medical conditions while developing your clinical skills in a well-supervised teaching environment.The Role As a General Medicine Registrar, you will provide inpatient and outpatient care across a broad range of medical specialties while participating in an established physician training program.You will gain experience in:
Acute General Medicine
Complex medical presentationsChronic disease management
Multidisciplinary inpatient care
Outpatient medicine
Supervised procedural experience
Increasing clinical responsibility under consultant supervision

6 months General Medicine
6 months Core Subspecialty Rotation, including:
Cardiology
Medical Oncology
Nephrology
