OneStop Shopfitting and Joinery – Slacks Creek QLD
We are working with an established boat trimming business located in Slacks Creek, who are looking for a marine trimmer or experienced upholsterer to join their team.
This is a busy, well‐run workshop with a strong pipeline of work ahead.
They are fully booked weeks in advance and need another skilled person in the team to help keep up with demand.
The work is hands‐on, varied and suited to someone who takes real pride in doing a job properly.
You will be working across a range of boat trimming and marine upholstery projects, including vinyl, piping, backing boards, foam, covers, trims and general marine fit out work.
This is not the sort of role where you are stuck doing the exact same thing every day.
Some jobs will be straightforward.
Some will need more thought.
Some will need you to slow down, work through the details, and make sure the end result is something you are proud to put your name to.
The business is looking for someone who enjoys the trade, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely values good workmanship.

What matters most is that you can work with vinyl, foam, boards, sewing, trimming and upholstery work to a good standard, and that you care about quality.
The role is full‐time and workshop based in Slacks Creek.

The right person will be someone who:
Takes pride in their work
Has experience in marine trimming, auto trimming, upholstery or similar
Can sew and work with vinyl
Is confident with foam, boards, piping and general trimming work
Can work through a job properly without cutting corners
Is reliable and turns up ready to work
Works well in a small team

Can take feedback without taking it personally
