You'll contribute to a culture of accountability, safety awareness,



and continuous improvement by:Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HSE systems, policies, and proceduresSupport site-based incident investigations and risk assessmentsConduct workplace inspections and hazard identification activitiesFacilitate safety training and inductionsAssist with internal and external HSE auditsMaintain accurate safety records and data reportingPromote proactive safety behaviours and compliance with Perilya's Fitness for Work and Rules to Live By programsWhat You Will BringMinimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) – Diploma of WHS preferredExperience in mining, construction, or a high-risk operational environmentCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)Drug and Alcohol Testing qualification (HLTPAT005) or willingness to obtainFamiliarity with safety auditing practices (desirable)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Why Join PerilyaAt Perilya, you'll join a supportive and community-focused team where safety is at the heart of everything we do.
