About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Team, you will take ownershipofprocurementand logistics working with the team supporting a major program.
You will uplift standards, streamline processes, and drive consistency in how we engage, negotiate, and manage suppliers.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned to Designworks' objectives
Establish and communicate governance frameworks, processes and structured supply chain controls
Ensure internal policies, compliance obligations and program requirements for procurement activities are identified and achieved
Identify and mitigate risks to supply chain resilience
Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation and commercial negotiation
Manage supplier performance and ensure any issues are identified, communicated and resolved
Support supply chain audit and review processes




Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, supply chain lead times and inventory efficiency
About you
Experience developing and implementing procurement governance frameworks and policies
Robust knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement requirements within the aerospace manufacturing industry
Practical understanding of local and international supply chain compliance requirements (e.g. export controls, DFARs, ITAR)
Extensive MRP experience with Odoo preferred
Ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholder

Be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 preferred)
