Link-Force AU is partnering with a leading formwork contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their growing team in Sydney.
This is an excellent prospect to join a well-established contractor delivering major formwork, concrete and civil infrastructure projects across New South Wales.
The successful candidate will play a key role in both pre-contract estimating and post-contract commercial management, working on complex projects involving formwork, concrete, bridges and tunnels.
Working closely with senior management, project managers and site teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, administering contracts and identifying commercial opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for major construction and civil infrastructure projects.
Complete quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and specifications.
Develop accurate cost plans, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
Manage subcontractor procurement, pricing and contract negotiations.
Monitor project costs, variations and financial performance.
Prepare progress claims, payment schedules and cost reports.
Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
Liaise with clients, consultants,



subcontractors and internal project teams.
Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations and commercial objectives.
About You
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator or in a dual QS/Estimator role.
Previous experience within formwork, concrete, bridges, tunnels or heavy civil construction is highly regarded.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and commercial management.
Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
