The Role
We're currently recruiting Council Field Staff across Civil, Streetscapes, and Waste teams for councils throughout Sydney.
Whether you're an experienced labourer or looking to get your foot in the door with council work, we have opportunities suited to a range of skill levels — with solid, ongoing hours on offer.
What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your role and council placement, your day-to-day may include:
General labouring and civil works support
Streetscape maintenance – mowing, whipper snipping, garden beds, footpaths, and public space upkeep
Waste collection and management duties
Assisting tradespeople and crews with council infrastructure projects
General site duties, traffic control support, and equipment handling
What You'll Need
White Card (mandatory)
Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence (mandatory)
Reliable, punctual, and ready to work outdoors in all conditions
Strong work ethic — no prior experience necessary for entry-level roles
Previous council, civil, or labouring experience highly regarded for higher-paying roles
Traffic Control, Rigging, or plant tickets are a bonus (not essential)
