McNaughts Transport is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Linehaul Driver to join our growing team.
This is a full-time, salary-based position offering the flexibility to be based in one of our key locations: Dubbo Region, Toowoomba, or Brisbane.
You will operate late-model automatic or manual vehicles and be supported by a professional operations team.We are looking for a dedicated professional with excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
If you are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to be part of a respected family-owned business, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Conduct pickups and deliveries of general freight, consisting mainly of pallets/skids and IBC's or interbranch shuttle work (there is a requirement to load and unloadLinehaul work across Australia – predominantly between South East Qld – central West NSW and into Melbourne/ VictoriaSafely transport dangerous goods in compliance with DG regulationsComplete pre-start checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and logsWork closely with the dispatch and operations teams to ensure effective schedulingRequirements:Valid MC driver's licenseClean driving record and strong safety mindsetAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamGood communication skills and reliable work ethicKnowledge of COR, BFM, and load restraint guidelinesBe well-presented, punctual, and flexible to changing work requirementsBe efficient in completing necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diariesPrevious experience in linehaul or interstate transport operationsFamiliarity with QLD and NSW routesExperience with late-model Kenworth (manual) or similar manual vehiclesHolding a forklift licenseDangerous Goods accreditation (or willingness to obtain)Modern, well-maintained Kenworth vehiclesOngoing training and accreditation supportStable full-time role with a respected industry leaderSupportive and safety-focused team environmentYou will be required to provide a copy of your current license and meet McNaughts Transport employment criteria which will include a medical and drug and alcohol test.
