At the centre of big ideas.Craft speeches and messages that support the Premier's prioritiesTurn complex policy into compelling content for high-profile audiencesFull-time Temporary, Clerk Grade 7/8 ($116,981 - $129,492 per annum) opportunity up to 8 January ****, based in Martin Place, Sydney CBD.About the RoleThe Public Affairs team is seeking a full-time temporary Media Advisor, Speeches to support the development of speeches, video messages and other strategic communications for the NSW Premier's Department, including key NSW Government spokespeople.Working closely with senior communications professionals, ministerial offices and key stakeholders, you will research, draft and refine content that communicates government priorities to a range of audiences.
This role offers a unique prospect to contribute to high-profile announcements, events and engagements, while working in a fast-paced environment at the centre of government.You will join the Public Affairs team within the Community and Engagement Branch, Delivery and Engagement Group, helping to deliver clear, engaging and impactful communications that support the Premier's agenda.To learn more about the role,
please review the Role Description.We're Looking ForSpeechwriting and Content Development: Demonstrated experience writing speeches, video messages, executive communications or other high-quality written content for senior leadersWritten Communication: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex policy, stakeholder and operational information into clear, concise and engaging communicationsStakeholder Engagement: Experience working with senior stakeholders and incorporating feedback from multiple contributors to produce high-quality outcomesMedia and Communications Experience: Experience in media, communications, public affairs or a related discipline, preferably within government or another complex organisationDelivery Under Pressure: Proven ability to manage competing priorities, respond to tight deadlines and deliver accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?
