As a Mechanic/Auto Dismantler, you will play a crucial role in our full‐time vehicle dismantling operations, working to dismantle and recycle automotive parts and components.What you'll be doingSafely dismantle a variety of vehicles, on a hoist to extract and salvage reusable parts and components, including engine & transmissionsOrganise and catalogue dismantled parts to ensure efficient inventory managementWork collaboratively with the wider team to meet daily dismantling targetsAdhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulationsMaintain a clean and organised workspace to support effective operationsWhat we're looking forProven experience in automotive dismantling or a similar role within the automotive trades industryStrong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and dismantle complex vehicle systemsCommitment to workplace safety and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamMust have own tools & the ability to work on a large array of vehiclesExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsPositive attitude & strong work ethicA current forklift licence would be highly advantageousWhat we offercompetitive salaryopportunities for ongoing training and developmentcollaborative team environmentdiscounts on vehicle parts and accessoriesAbout usSouth West Four Wheel Drive Pty Ltd is a leading provider of automotive parts and services in the Toowoomba region.
