In this QLD‐based role, you'll support leading research institutes, universities and clinical laboratories - ensuring their critical instruments are installed, maintained and performing at their best.If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, thrive in scientific environments, and want a role where your work directly supports advances in health and research, this is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Your Day-to-DayAs a Field Service Engineer within the Biosciences team, you'll deliver on‐site support across Queensland and help keep high‐spec scientific instrumentation running safely, reliably and accurately.Your day will include:Installing, commissioning and training customers on BD/Waters Biosciences instrumentsPerforming maintenance, fault diagnosis,



repair work and performance testingProviding phone‐based troubleshooting support when requiredMaintaining accurate service records and documentationCollaborating with Account Managers and Technical Specialists to identify service and upgrade opportunitiesManaging service parts, stock control and equipment movementAssessing product performance, reporting issues and recommending improvementsKeeping up‐to‐date with new instrument models and participating in ongoing trainingPreparing repair quotations and identifying opportunities for service contractsEnsuring all activities comply with the BD/Waters Quality Management SystemThis is a hands‐on, customer‐facing role where you'll work with precision equipment used in flow cytometry, life sciences research and clinical diagnostics.About YouYou're a technical problem‐solver with strong electro‐mechanical and IT capabilities, and you enjoy working in scientific or laboratory environments.You'll bring:Qualification in electronics, engineering, biomedical engineering, mechatronics or similar (Cert, Diploma or Degree)5+ years' experience servicing life science, laboratory or clinical instrumentation (flow cytometry highly regarded)Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, electronics, software and networkingConfidence configuring applications, operating systems,
