Job DescriptionAs our Chef, you will play a key role in delivering consistently high-quality meals while maintaining exceptional food safety and kitchen standards.
You will work closely with the management team to support daily kitchen operations and contribute to menu development.Prepare and cook authentic Nepalese dishes to a consistently high standard.Assist with menu planning and the development of new dishes and seasonal specials.Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control.Oversee daily food preparation and cooking operations.Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.Monitor stock levels, food storage, stock rotation, and inventory control.Assist with ordering food supplies and managing kitchen inventory.Minimise food wastage through effective stock management.Supervise, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff when required.Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and workplace health and safety requirements.About the EmployerTasmandu is one of Launceston's leading Nepalese restaurants, proudly operated by Singh Foundation.

we are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking for long-term career stability within a growing hospitality group.To be successful in this role, you will have:Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
