Synergie is seeking a Freight Handler for the logistics industry located in Cairns.
The important parts:
Immediate start.
Full time position available - includes weekends and shift work - penalty rates will apply if working weekends & outside of normal hours
What you will be required to do:
Driving and working airside and in the shed at Cairns Airport sorting freight,
collecting freight from aircraft - (this is not baggage handling)
Loading and unloading freighters as part of a team.
Delivery driving animals and urgent freight in the Cairns and North Qld area as required.
To be successful in the role you must:
Forklift ticket and driver's licence
Must undergo a drug and alcohol test and security background checks for an Aviation ASIC Pass
Be a Permanent Resident as this is a Permanent position
Base hour rate offered with penalty rates and overtime rates available.
