Oakley Capital Partners Pty Ltd – Sydney CBD NSWAn exceptional chance has arisen to join one of Sydney's leading independent corporate advisory firms.This boutique corporate advisory and investment firm that provides funding, strategic and corporate finance services to a diverse client base including technology, mining, industrials, fintech and pharma.
The firm specialises in the micro cap space, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, and strategic advisory mandates, delivering independent, objective advice to companies, founders, investors, and boards.Driven by continued growth, an expanding transaction pipeline, and increasing investment activity, the firm is offering the chance for a highly motivated Corporate Finance Intern to join its Sydney team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week) to gain relevant industry experience, and demonstrate ability to contribute to the firm's business.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior executives on live transactions, strategic advisory engagements, capital raisings, and principal investments across a broad range of industries.
The internship period is for an initial 3-4 months, and if successful,
can be extended into a paid role for a longer period.Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:1.
Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation development skills, with the ability to produce high-quality investor, board and transaction materials.2.
Outstanding written communication skills and a strong command of the English language.3.
Strong copywriting and wordsmithing abilities, with an eye for clear, persuasive and professional messaging.4.
Experience drafting corporate documents, including ASX announcements, press releases, investor presentations, marketing materials and transaction documentation.5.
A sound understanding of Australian equity markets, particularly ASX-listed small-cap and micro-cap companies.6.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial analysis, modelling and data interpretation.7.
Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, with excellent attention to detail.8.
The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.9.
A proactive, self-motivated approach and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and deliver outcomes.
