This could be your chance to start an exciting and rewarding career in the Energy Industry.The Position:Process Plant Operations Traineeship24-month nominal term traineeshipEarning a Certificate III in Process Plant Operations (PMA*****)Work on rotating equipment, compressors and separatorsLearn how to monitor and maintain production processes by using sophisticated computerized control equipmentCarry our daily tasks to ensure that the equipment is maintained and operating at a high level.Control production processes and product qualityDeal with production upsets and equipment malfunctionsOperate valves, pumps and equipmentMonitor flows, temperatures and pressuresAdminister permit to work and assist with planning of equipment maintenance and plant shutdownIdentifying any possible production problemsYou will gain technical knowledge on hydrocarbon (natural gas) processing systems and develop skills.
Your training will involve both on-the-job and classroom-based learning, both at local sites and registered training organisations.To be successful you will be:An Australian citizen or permanent resident who resides in QueenslandAble to work flexible hours including 12-hour shifts on a 2 week on/off roster out of RomaA team player with a willingness to actively contribute to achieving resultsA high commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and proceduresPassionate about building a career in the Energy IndustryCompleted, or about to complete, Year 12 with a pass in Mathematics,
