About the roleThe Capability Adviser provides operational support and system expertise to ensure the effective functioning of learning, capability and organisation development programs across the organisation.
In particular, the Capability Adviser is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the PDP and progression processes for the department.
The role involves working collaboratively to deliver this key function and other learning and capability initiatives.
The People Services Unit supports the department to build workforce capability through the provision of a broad range of learning and development programs and other whole of department initiatives.
The Organisational Development (Capability) team manages the department's learning and development programs, providing mandatory compliance training and development opportunities to VPS staff, leaders, and executives.
