We're a family-owned business located minutes from Hobart Airport, supplying some of the world's highest-end seafood markets.We're looking for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to be part of a small, close-knit team.What you'll be doingReceiving and handling live abalonePreparing export shipments for international customersDriving company vehicles to collect product around TasmaniaCleaning and maintaining equipment and work areasMonitoring stock and assisting with quality controlGeneral warehouse and processing dutiesAssisting with facility maintenance and improvement projectsAbout youYou don't need seafood experience—we can teach that.What we can't teach is attitude.You'll be someone who:Is physically fit and capable of manual workIs reliable and turns up every day ready to workHas common sense and can work without constant supervisionPays attention to detailTakes pride in keeping things clean and organisedIs comfortable working in a routine-based roleHolds a current driver's licence (manual preferred)Has Australian working rightsMechanical aptitude, farming, fishing, construction, aquaculture or trade experience will be viewed favourably.What we offerA secure, long-term position with an established Tasmanian businessA supportive small teamThe opportunity to learn a specialised export industryPlease note: This is not a desk job.
The work is physical with occasional early starts or weekend work required to meet export schedules.
